My name is Sergio Bastidas. I was born and raised in Southern California in a little town called Brawley. It was not until the age of 17 that I became fascinated with photography. By the age of 18 it had become my passion. The camera became my way of telling a story. That story being life with all of its beauty, tragedy, highs, lows, inspiration and loss.

Help a photographer!
Recently I travelled to Mexico City with the band London After Midnight to document their trip out there. On the way back to the US, the airline Volaris made me check in my camera back full of my photo equipment and didn’t allow me to bring it as a carry one. On arriving at my destination I realized that my bag had been broken into. My professional camera along with one of my lenses and the memory card with the photos from the trip were STOLEN! I filed a report with the airline and airport. After a month of battling the airline, they decided to not take responsibility of the incedent and refused to comment or reimburse me for my expensive equipment that was stolen. I am reaching out to the people and asking for donation to replace the equipment. I have been working as a photographer for 7 years and have worked very hard to get my equipment and where I am at. Anything will help and please reblog this and spread the word that if anyone is flying to mexico city to not fly on Volaris!!!
